Commercial

Commercial dance is inspired by music videos, for example, and the class boldly fuses techniques from different genres. The teacher’s own style also comes out strongly in the choreographies.

Emmi’s (ELU) classes are engaging. Emmi’s commercial style is based on the techniques of show, heels, and street dance. In the classes, we practice movements familiar from music videos, as well as diverse choreographies. In the classes, we move to the beat of party music. In Emmi’s classes, the joy of dancing and working together is important! In Noora’s (NP) classes, we learn the basics of hip-hop, but we also use a lot of jazz dance technique. In the classes, in addition to the warm-up and technique section, we also do choreographies that are the main focus of the class.

The movement language typical of commercial is seen in commercial work, including TV programs, music videos, and artists’ gigs. The classes also practice things specific to the commercial sector, such as presentation, use of space, and teamwork skills.

Classes 26904, 26722, 26333, 26339, 26902 & 26342 are joint with adults.
